How to Search Engine Optimize the Content of a Blog!

A few minutes back I wrote one post on some essential tips for the success of a business blog, the last line of that blog tells that a bit of search engine optimization is required for the success of the business blog. Well, many people have some different views on the same point so I thought to write one new post on the same.

Well, there are a few bloggers in this world who thinks that people won’t share their blogs if they find it optimized. Many people do follow the trend of choosing a keyword rich title for the post and then using a specific percentage of the same keywords on the blog, to maintain the keyword density. Although in my last post I too mentioned that title is one of the important factors behind the success of any blog, but yes it is also true that it should not focus on a particular keyword. I mentioned that a title is required to be perfect, not to be a keyword specific.

Well, in my honest opinion, people will always share the post which they will find useful to them. They won’t look weather the post is well optimized or not. Only difference which search engine optimization of blog post can create is the way people will reach to the post. Here are some of the tips which can help you to create amazing blog post too and do a bit of search engine optimization too.

Killing Title:
Well title is something which can provide you the best option of doing search engine optimization too while it can remain neutral and attractive too for the visitors of the blog. You can choose one or two keyword phrases, mind it phrases (long tail keywords too) not keywords only, and then make a title which will summarize the content of the post, but it should not be viewed in the aspect of doing SEO of the post. Prepare the title in the manner that what you think fits for that particular post.

Natural Content:
Now once your title is final, you need to write the content for your post, but remember that you need to write the post in a natural way. Don’t worry about how many times you repeated the keyword in the post, as far as the post is informative and meaningful it won’t matter.

Keyword Research:
Now once you are done with the post, you need to target a few keywords for the search engine optimization of the post. You need to find out a few keywords which people are searching for similar types of post. You can also do a bit of research with the keyword tools like Google external keyword tool.

Meta Description:
Prepare a Meta description to optimize the post with the help of keywords which you have selected. Many people ignore the importance of Meta description as far as blog is considered.

After finishing these works I am sure that your blog post will become a bit optimized too for search engines and remain natural to your readers too. Don’t forget to insert alt tag or alternative text for your images in the post.
