Alok was ambitious, passionate, and deeply focused on building his career in computers field. He was a bright student when it came to computers. Life was moving fast, dreams were big, and the future looked exciting.

And then Punam entered his life.

She wasn’t just another person he met along the way.
There was something about her presence — calm, genuine, and comforting.

Their conversations started simply.

A few shared thoughts.

And a few foods are eaten together.

But slowly, those conversations grew longer, the silences became comfortable, and their hearts began to recognize each other.

It was detected at the time when Punam was expecting, doctors said to abort the child, but she said she would give birth to her.

What followed was a six-year long battle.

Six years of hospitals.
Six years of medicines.
Six years of pain and hope mixed together.

And during the last two years, Punam had to live on oxygen support just to breathe.

Breathing — something most of us never even think about — became the biggest struggle of her life.

Yet through all of this, she never stopped fighting.

And Alok never stopped standing beside her.
