No longer does looking beautiful, dressing up, beauty treatments and even beauty pageants get restricted to women! Beware women; men are overpowering your field! These days it’s no big deal if you see men walking down the lane of that expensive beauty salon. The beauty products industry is now entering in men’s beauty care products as well. And with the increasing awareness through advertisements, men are doing all possible things to look good and give competition to their female counterparts!

It’s the effect of the modern era: Well, you can call it modernization at its best. If women can spend big bucks on beauty treatments, so can men. If women can do hours of shopping, so can men. If women can go through painful procedures to look good, so can men! We have to accept it that no longer does a man shies away from buying that fairness cream, which was from decades reserved for women. Earlier men used to think that they are not made for such things, but with growing competition and modernization they have to look at their best. And for that they have to take help of the beauty products.

Men are no longer afraid: One of my male friends was about to get married and he wanted to go through the regular treatments before the D-Day, so he got him a full “bridegroom” package at the nearest salon. Well, earlier getting a bridal make up package was only the job of the bride, but now even men are not far behind. Let’s just say that it’s all in the mind. They are no longer ashamed or afraid to accept that they want to look and that they can do what it takes to look good.

Fake Machoism is out: Men from earlier generations had always felt that being tough macho guy is what they are made for. But times are changing now. Not only men are following women to look good, but they are also becoming more responsible, sharing and soft hearted. They help their wives cook, look after the baby or even decide the color of the curtains! And it is no fad, it is here to stay. So all you women out there, get ready to face some beauty competition!
