Mesothelioma, I was not at all aware from this term a few years back. During my last job my boss once told me about this and I asked him, what Mesothelioma is? I am sure that many people will also ask the same question.

My boss replied to me that Mesothelioma is a disease. I said okey, since I was not interested to know it in deep. Later on this term came into my knowledge for so many times but I just take it casually. A few days back I saw one of the website on Mesothelioma Details and then I came to know that Mesothelioma is actually a type of cancer, which is related to the exposure to asbestos.

Mesothelioma, which in fact causes malignant cells develop in the mesothelium, a protective lining that covers most of the body’s internal organs. It is primarily of three types: Pleural mesothelioma, Peritoneal mesothelioma and Pericardial mesothelioma. Pleural mesothelioma which is the most common form of Mesothelioma and almost more than 75% of Mesothelioma victims fall in this category.

As far as I came to know about Mesothelioma is that it is caused mainly by asbestos. You can also check the different causes of Mesothelioma. Mostly people who got affected from Mesothelioma are those who work in unsafe places, during their work they inhale asbestos particles or dust and thus they got affected.

On the other hand Mesothelioma treatments primarily depend on the extent of the spread of infection. I am not sure whether Mesothelioma is a curable disease or not, but I think it can be cured up to a level. Modern medical facilities and surgery can cure this disease.

So this is all what I came to know about it, while there are many more things still uncover from me on Mesothelioma.
