After winning Big Brother show in the United Kingdom, Shilpa Shetty has made her place in the A- list of the bollywood stars. The small Britain stint has brought not only an inflow of cash and movie offers but has added her name in the most talked about people of the tinsel town.

After her recent success of Life… in a metro and being in the news for her relationship with a certain Mr. Kundar, Shilpa had recently come out with a yoga cd of hers in which she has revealed her yoga knowledge for a toned up body like hers. But most recently she has made news for herself by committing her dancing skills to be showed off at the ‘unforgettable’ world tour being organized by the Bachchan family.

Confirming the news of her being a part of the world tour Shilpa informs that she would be dancing in two acts sharing the stage with the very new bahu of the bachchan parivar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She explains her excitement to be working with Aish by stating that as both of them belong to Mangalore, she hopes that they would get along very well. Adding to this she claims that Preity, who is also a part of the show, is a hassle free person and would be good to work with. With this she recalls that it isn’t the first time she would be doing a stage show with Amitji but her excitement is at a different level when she has to work with the whole family.

When enquired about the sudden entry of her in the show, she replied that it wasn’t a sudden decision, they were planning it out and when it got finalized, it was announced. An all charged up Shilpa would be a part of the show throughout whereas Madhuri would perform in the United States and Canada and Akshay Kumar would be present at the inaugural show at Toronto.

Baba Ramdev, the yoga guru, is interested to clean up the Indian political system without getting into the power.

He says, “I want to clean up the lives of politicians in the country through yoga and purge the political system of deadwood” through his preaching but will stay away from active politics.

“I have political ambition, but not for power. I want to change those who are in power. I hate the political system of the country. It paints such a negative image of the country abroad. The reins of the country should be in the hands of those who are transparent, humble, honest, farsighted and enterprising,” Ramdev had told IANS in an interview on June 1.

Since this interview people are aiming that Baba Ramdev is going to step in politics.

Baba Ramdev, an authority on ancient Indian yoga and traditional medicine said, “Politics has become a business. I want to see a Ram Raja, someone who is restrained and has a world view,” Ramdev said.

The interview has created a doubt about joining politics by Ramdev.

Ramdev also stressed on ayurveda and yoga to heal physical ailments. He said, “The country should stop spending Rs 15 trillion on allopathic medicines and switch to ayurveda and yoga to ensure a clean environment.”

Advising as a measure of population control, he said,” The government must reward couples who have one or two children and export the surplus population.”

Baba Ramdev became a global icon of Yoga and Ayurved. His pupils are not only in India but worldwide.

It is reported that the famous Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has received a threatening letter by a middle aged man named Iqbal, a resident of Mugalsarai locality of Muradabad.

According to reports, the letter was reportedly found in a post-box outside Moradabad SP’s office. The letter threatens Baba Ramdev of dire consequences.

Uttar Pradesh security forces on Thursday arrested Iqbal. Investigation and interrogation to Iqbal regarding the matter is going on.

The yoga Guru is presently holding his Yoga camp in Uttar Pradesh and the district administration has beefed up security arrangements in the city. Ramdev will deliver his lessons on Yoga there till March 30.

Baba Ramdev have shown his concern over increasing population in India and advocated the two-child policy while addressing his followers in Lucknow two days back. He said that those who maintain a small family should be honoured and a harsh penalty is suggested at those who keep a relatively large family.

Mentioning China’s one child-policy, Baba Ramdev said, “It is high time for Indians to seriously think about the consequences of uncontrolled population growth, which is hampering India’s transformation into one of the world’s super power.”

He assured his strong support to the population control measures initiated by the government of India.
