Raj warns-no UP day in Maharashtra!

Raj Thackeray
Maharashtra Navnirmaan Sena (MNS) chief, Raj Thackeray announced that he will not allow celebrating Uttar Pradesh Day in Maharashtra. He also warned that his party will not entertain ”political goondaism” of North Indians in Maharashtra.

Justifying his acts Raj has compared his party with Mahatma Gandhi and Late hero Bhagat Singh and said that they had also broken the law.

Thackeray said in an interview to Marathi weekly Lokprabha ”No programme like UP Day, which shows North Indians poltical goondaism will be allowed to take place here we will first request them with folded hands. If that does not work, we will take them with open hands.”

He did not subscribe to the view that his party’s anti-North Indians campaign was unconstitutional.

”One must follow the basic principles of Constitution. But its issues keep changing. Don’t we revise the Constitution? The issues which are seen now were non-existent during creation of constitution” Thackeray said.

Giving example of third President of America, Thomas Jefferson’s quote ”Hasn’t somebody said that every generation has its constitution?” Raj has justified himself. But he forget that Thomas Jefferson have given equal rights to all while drafting Declaration of Independence of Constitution.

Uttar Pradesh Bomb Blasts

Three serial bomb blasts in Uttar Pradesh have left the people terror struck. The blasts have claimed several lives and left others injured. The government has expressed deep regret over the tragedy…

Three serial blasts in Varanasi, Lucknow and Faizabad have left the nation terror-struck. Five bomb blasts exploded almost simultaneously in Varanasi, Lucknow and Faizabad killing at least fourteen people and leaving several others injured.

According to reports, nine people have been reported dead from Varanasi while five people have been reported killed from Faizabad. All bombs were planted in and around civil courts and the explosives were packed on parked bicycles in the court compounds.

Steel pellets similar to those used in Hyderabad bomb blasts of August 1 have also been recovered. A group known as Indian Mujahideen has claimed responsibility for the blasts. The group sent an e-mail to a private news channel— India TV, five minutes before the blasts.

The group has also claimed responsibility for the Delhi and Hyderabad bomb blasts but stated that they had nothing to do with the Mecca Masjid bomb blasts, Samjhauta blasts or Malegaon terror strike. They also said that they are purely Indian and not connected to the ISI or the Ladhkar-e-Toiba or Huji.

The mail further stated that the blasts were in retaliation to the injustice done with Muslims in India, the demolition of the Baburi Masjid and the Gujarat riots. Today’s blasts were carried out because the police arrested two innocent people and framed them. When they were produced before the courts in Varanasi, Lucknow and Faizabad the lawyers beat them and refused to take up their case. They also stopped other lawyers from defending them.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Mayawati has expressed deep regret on this tragic event and has announced Rs 2 Lakh as compensation to the families of those who lost their lives and a sum of Rs 50, 000 to the injured.

The bomb blasts are the outcome of a very big conspiracy and the security needs to be tightened. Terrorism has become the root cause of a number of fears and problems. Such terrorist strikes are a big blot on the face of the nation.
