Possessiveness: The reason for a splits villa for Bebo and junior Pataudi??

Just as when the world was waiting to witness  yet another grand wedding bash of the most talked about couple of Bollywood, speculations of the start of a cold war spread all around leaving Bebo-Saif lovers into questions like-“Would they be together or not?”.

This lovey dovey couple, who stays in news for every little action taking place in their life, has been facing a hard time in their relationship for a while now. First there was the news of Kareena’s mother being unhappy of Saif’s interference in her career due to his obsession for his lady love and accompanying her to every do. And now what we hear is‘COLD WAR’ sorts of a thing between the two.

Incidentally, Saif fumed up to see Kareena dressed up to perform in an ‘exposing dress’ for the IIFA awards function.

The tiff began when Saifu entered the van and saw Kareena flaunting her size zero in a short dress and got so agitated over the scene that he burst at the actress and without even letting her explain her side of the situation, left the van. Sources revealed that the Hum Tum star was seen unhappy even when Kareena performed on stage.

Saif’s over possessiveness, which is clearly seen after this episode might just piss off Kareena. Well, as possessiveness enters a relationship, it is generally noticed it sours it up. But in this case, all we can hope is a happy ending for both of them. Though that happy ending, we pray should be of the cold war and not of their relationship.

Just a question Saif: Where was the possessiveness when your damsel was tearing away her jeans in Tashan or flaunting the lime green bikini? Hmmmm….so is life!!!!!!!!

Soha’s gun license cancelled!

SohaFinally the gun license of Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan is cancelled today while concluding the Soha Ali Khan’s gun license case by the Gurgaon trail court.

However the court maintained that Soha had indeed acquired the license after the age of 18, and hence is free to appeal against the judgment.

It was reported that the gun is used by her father Masoor Ali Khan Pataudi for hunting down a blackbuck for which the case was filed against the actress. It was also claimed that Soha was a minor when she got the gun license.

The issue came in to limelight after Naresh Kadyan, animal rights activist, issued an application under the Right to Information Act in the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Gurgaon asking whether the administration had ascertained if the applicant (Soha) was an adult when she moved the application for a gun license.

For the last one month she was questioned over the legality of the license and was asked to clarify how gun came in possession of her father and why was it used for hunting a protected species?

The actress was also accused of concealing important facts regarding the gun when she had applied for the renewal. Later she had also requested for a personal hearing also.

Earlier, Soha had pleaded innocence and invoked RTI to inspect copies of the documents attached to her application for securing the license in 1996.

The poaching case was registered June 5, 2005 by Jhajjar police and the gun, .22 bore rifle number 91501, was seized by them.

Movie Review of Tashan!

Tashan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor

Tashan is yet another Yash Raj banner’s movie but nothing sensual is there. Some unusual twists and turns left the characters as dumb without any strong impression. This will be the weakest film of the Yash Raj camp.

The debutant director Vijay Krishna Acharya of Yashraj camp, who is behind the scripts of Dhoom and Dhoom2 also, could not make any impressive stroke for the audience.

First half of the movie starts with a cool call centre executive Jimmy (Saif Ali Khan) who is entrusted the responsibility of teaching English to a desi bhojpuri gangster, Bhaiyyaji (Anil Kapoor). The teaching lessons to Bhaiyaaji gave some laughter strokes to the story initially which fades after some time.

Bhaiyyaji is hoping to sign a big project with some foreign delegates. But Bhaiyyaji’s key help the cunning girl, Pooja (Kareena Kapoor), who can’t be trusted, uses Jimmy to swindle Bhaiyyaji of Rs. 25 crores. Now Bhaiyajji wants his money back and also his revenge to Jimmy and Pooja.

Now Bachchan Pande (Akshay Kumar), an electricity stealer came into the scene to lift the story. He can climb, jump and fly with the support of just about anything. He can break all bones of the body and the result will always be 100%. He has done a great job in the movie.

Bhaiyyaji settles him to trace Pooja after Jimmy surrenders. And after a few drama lines and turns, the story ends. The proceedings in the movie tend to get vague as the movie moves ahead right from the Hollywood style road chase for treasure to a typical Hindi formula film of revenge and lost love etc.

Anil does a good job as the villain from Kanpur. Kareena couldn’t show her best in the film but Saif is in a new look.

Akshay is the real hero of the film. He enters in the second half to precede the dragging story of the movie. He leaves you awestruck with his action sequences. He really rocks in the movie giving a superb performance.

There are a lot of unwanted scenes, meaningless sequences and lengthy fight scenes made the movie rough. Music by Vishal Shekar and Choreography by Vaibhavi Maerchant are definitely entertaining and foot tapping enough but tend to barge into any portion of the film making the film’s Tashan take a dip.

However, the cinematography by Ayananka Bose is superb giving an eye feeling capturing of locales of Greece, Rajasthan, Kerala etc. Editing by Rameshwar S. Bhagat and art direction by Sukant Panigrahy further enhanced the Tashan (style) of the film.

The audience who are fed up of IPL, which is forcing producers to push their release further ahead, can go for Tashan. It can give a new style (Tashan) to their rough routine.
