Will we ever cheat the person whom we love?

A few day’s back one of our reader sent us the article on Why do we leave the ones we love, and then one of our author Shobhita Dutta came up with this article:

This is one question which I think has no definite answer-can we cheat a person we love? Well, may be yes, may be no! Read on to find out.

Actually it depends from person to person and the situation in which we are. I have seen many youngsters dumping their true loves for a hotter hunk or chick, only to be ditched by them and return back to their true love. Actually you can never really “cheat” on whom you love, though you may get distracted for a while.

When you are with a partner for a long time, you tend to get a bit bored or miss the spark. Though the spark may be gone, but not love. You may be tempted to cheat on him/her but you’ll always be laden with guilt if you do so. And sooner or later you will find out that what you did was wrong. The kind of support and strength you get from your love, you can never get from any other person.

And when you truly love a person, you can never like anybody else to that extent. You will always find the same qualities and same mannerisms in the new guy or girl. But sadly, not two humans are alike.

So you can never cheat a person whom you love because you’ll know when the perfect guy/girl comes around and at that time you’ll have absolutely no reason to cheat on him/her.

Why do we leave the ones we love?

If you’re new here, and interested in the latest news and insights on news from India and world, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting I News India.

You promise to stay together till the last breath but you left me alone when I am still breathing.

Are words so easy to be spoken that one does not even want to keep it and do not feel embarrassed in not keeping it. Why don’t we have laws for all those who back out from what they say and don’t mean it later? Why things become so difficult between the ones who were considered to be the most compatible. Once Shahrukh Khan said “You are together till you want to be together and if any relationship fails that’s not because you no more compatible, that’s because you are no more dedicated to it.”

What is love? - Different people with very different meanings. But what can be one common meaning among all the different answers – Love is Unconditional. Two people coming together mentally and physically, becoming two bodies and one soul (the very filmy way of interpreting it) are actually with two different minds, two different temperaments and with two different likings ( as opposites attract each other)  and therefore how one can expect the other to behave and react in the same manner. That’s why we say Love is unconditional where you respect your partner the way he/ she is – Good or Bad or Whatever.

Accept the person the way he/she is because you have decided to spend life with each other forever and ever. But what If your partner starts taking an undue advantage of this statement, Changes behavior like a chameleon? Here we trust our instincts and take a call. Few will sit, talk and discuss and would give their best to make it happen and few other would just walk off leaving the partner behind. The ones who discuss are the ones who want to fight with the situation and believe in themselves, their decisions and the later ones are self centered who believe in no compromise life not at the cost of their happiness.

I like writing Fiction and this is one soul touching work of mine. I would appreciate to get your comments on the same.

How to create an ideal relationship?

If you’re new here, and interested in the latest news and insights on news from India and world, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting I News India.

Probably the most complex thing in our lives is relationships. You don’t even get a hint when they break. Making a relationship work is not something which happens automatically. You have work towards it step by step. It takes effort and hard work to make a relationship work. And since these days relationships break just with the wink of an eye, surviving a relationship has become very tough. Most people these days suffer from depression and unhappy social lives because their relationships don’t work. You will have to put in some amount of effort, only then will a relationship work. So let’s go through some “must do’s” for making a relationship click-

Don’t let your past relationships haunt you: The most common problem with many people is that they don’t get over their past relationships easily. Though it is true that when you are emotionally attached to a person, parting ways with him can become difficult but it’s not impossible. You have to accept that the relationship is no longer a part of your life and you have to get over it. When you forget your past, you become more ‘free’ and try to open to new people and possibilities.

Speak your mind: It is very important in any relationship to speak out your mind. When a person starts shying away from speaking openly to the other person in a relationship then it always creates problems. Also the possibilities of misunderstanding crop up when you do not talk out openly. Clearly stating what you want and expect is surely a better way.

Don’t change your inner self for any relationship: You may come across many relationships in your life where the other person demands you to change your personality or attitude. They may even ask you to do such things which you are not willing to do. In such a case, don’t ever surrender. You are what you are and the other person should love you and respect you for what you are, not for what you can become.

Love Marriage!

Have you seen the movies Sathiya and Chalte Chalte? These are simple love stories but they depict a stark reality of life. Be it love marriage or arranged marriage, the initial fervor of love is sure to get buried under the burden of responsibilities and practicalities of life. Then the cute love story of a boy met a girl, fell in love at first sight, said he would do anything to marry the girl, fought with his own parents, ran and got married and dreamt of staying happily in love forever, sounds like a fallacy.

Why does every love story meet the same fate? The reason is simple. Before you tie the knot, you can live in the fantasy land and dream about whatever you want to. In this journey you include your girlfriend or boyfriend also and everything looks rosy.  There is no responsibility except the craziness for each other. And the biggest factor is that you still are living separately and don’t have full control over each other. But the moment you get married, subconsciously you start taking your spouse for granted from day one. You don’t have to get ready to go and meet her/him in the evenings anymore. That person is with you 24 * 7.

Another important factor is that after marriage not only does your family, your society but even your spouse expects you to behave maturely and responsibly. They would no longer neglect your mistakes. You are required to behave as a reliable family member and expected to follow all the rules and regulations of the family.

It’s rightfully said that any kind of marriage can only work if there is mutual understanding and compatibility. The initial passion can only be sustained over the years by constant hard work. You cannot expect your spouse to keep showering sweet nothings on you till eternity. Every marriage has to sail through ups and downs and only those marriages survive the test of time which are build on strong foundation of trust, mutual respect and adjustments. Every marriage expects some level of compromise from both the partners. You have to nurture the values of humility and patience to make your marriage work. Love marriages can also work only if “I” changes to “us” and remains like that forever.

How to communicate with your Ex-Girlfriend!

You may have ended a relationship but you might be in a situation where you have to keep in touch with your ex. It might be due to kids or just a common circle of friends. Bumping into your ex after a breakup can be very awkward but if handled in a mature way, it can be comfortable too.

When you are in public where you both have to be together for some time, try to be extra cautious of not bringing up subjects which might bring back old memories. The past may have been good or bad, if brought back to present it would just ruin the moment for both of you.

If you broke up, it would mean that something went wrong somewhere. Your ex may not have been able to adjust to one of your habits or may not have liked one of your traits. Behave in a mature and careful way and try to avoid the display of the behavior which was not acceptable to him or her. Being rigid about being yourself may just put both of you in a ridiculous situation with one of you taking offense again and doing something unreasonable.

Try to talk to your ex beforehand. If you both can mutually agree to stand each other for the time you are together, then the entire experience may actually turn out exciting for both of you. Talk it out in advance with each other. Let the other person know how you feel and what you expect from your ex.

When you are looking to move ahead and still talk with your ex, make sure that you are under control and can cope with your emotions.  If you are going to explode out of anger or if you are going to shut down out of depression, it might be too soon to really get any good communication going.

Four steps to get back your love!

Love is precious

If you want to get back your lost love or want to stop your break up or a divorce, here comes the magic steps which can immensely help you even if you think your situation is hopeless. You have to just do and say the RIGHT things at the right time.

1) Avoid strange things while in Pain and Fear: Situation of pain and fear while losing the love can make you doing some strange things which should be avoided to get back your ex love. When anyone is in pain, he/she feels very insecure and starts doing some strange things that we never believed we are capable of. For instance in such a week moment, we apologize profusely for mistakes that we don’t believe we committed. We try to convince them hard that it wasn’t our fault. These things only increase troubles in getting back our love. The unrealistic promises giving the pseudo feeling that we have tried everything we could, should be avoided.

2) Take responsibility: If you have a break up and want your love back, put the other things and reasons aside and take the responsibility of the break. Although you both are involved in the break up but you are also responsible for that somewhere and to some extent.

3) Put your ego aside: Ego is the biggest enemy of any relation. It is like a slow poison which ruins the relation. Put your ego aside and be first to ask him/ her to come back in your life. True love never fails. Your efforts will

4) Impatience is your enemy, avoid it:  Impatience compels you to take action out of fear and we know that causes more mistakes and bigger mistakes. Have patience although hard but control as far as possible. Impatience is just that little voice inside your head that tells you, you can’t be happy until you know your love is glad to be back. But this feeling can lead to disasters. Be patient and try to get back your love with the above magic steps.

Love is a feeling you can’t express in words. It is a fragrance you can’t catch but you can feel and hold the magic by avoiding that every thing which can harm your love. It is a commitment you have to follow. Avoid misunderstandings and try your level best to get back your love and make it last.

5 Steps to survive Break ups?

Loss of a close relationship can make anyone to go in pain and depression. Sometimes a break up leading to a break down becomes very hard to cope with. Futures become scary and dark but STOP!  Life continues and we have to face it with courage. It’s only you who can help yourself to come out of the state of depression and control the situation.

Yes, the task is really hard but there are some steps that will help you in controlling the situation:

1) Interact with people- First thing you have to take care is to not spend your time alone in this situation. It is needed to be surrounded by people, either your family or friends. Call them, talk to them or you can also join a group for new hobbies to distract yourself from that painful happening.  Go for movies, group sports or your favorite music and dance and keep your mind relaxed and free from stress.

2) Avoid blame game- Don’t ever play a blame game. Take the responsibility as blaming each other will not help or mend the relationship. You was also an active part of that relationship and you are also responsible for both, its success and failure. However you are not the only one to blame.

3) Give yourself time to heal- It is tough to forget the lost love immediately but its okay to grieve for it.  Give yourself some time. Time is the best medicine to heal every pain of life. You might got angry and vent out your anger, let it go as your friends understands your situation. Just give some time to heal up.

4) Don’t stay depressed and move on– Now you are giving time to heal yourself and interacting with people. You need not to stay in the environment of sadness and grief. Just come out of it and move on. Think positive and forget the past. It will make no sense to just keep thinking and shedding tears for which you have lost and which will not come back again. You can go for a date just to make your mood light. If you’re not very comfortable with dating as yet go for a double date. Just move on the positive track of life!

5) Don’t force a new relationship- If you don’t found comfortable with any new girl/boy, just leave it. This kind of relationship will not mend your heart nor will it replace your other relationship. Try to spend some time with those with whom you found comfortable and you like their company. Do not force yourself to just stick with any buddy to forget the past.

These ways, though needs a lot of effort from your side but definitely will help you to come out of the mourning phase of your life and will make you feel good again.

Chat-Pati Loveology!

Chatting and dating, the two most recent obsessions among the youth have so well gelled with each other that the present youngsters have totally been swallowed up by their mobile phones and the computers.

Messengers, social networking sites, dating sites, all have been ruling the worlds of the present generation.

It’s not that I am anti technology or anti dating, but what is the most important for me is the purity of soul and heart.

Dating’, the gen-next name for a relationship has modified the meanings of love to the masses. People getting committed and then single and then committed is a very general notion but somewhere it is killing the serenity and beauty of the true and heartfelt feelings in a relationship

Where in today’s time, an objection to the mingling of the opposite sex people with each other would be considered narrow mindedness, the ethics of a relationship say your partner is your soul, your inner strength and the passion to live. If we go by this, then why we do see committed or married people flirting around on networking, dating sites or on secret chat rooms.

A guy usually having tons of female friends succeeds to propose and get into a relationship easily. But that one girl who is a spec in the whole sand dune of girls around that guy is unaware of his flirtatious attitude. I do not blame it all on the male sex, it is quite common with the females as well and neither do I quote that it is every person who is of this nature. A true and a genuine lover would have all the love, affection n time for his/her partner, prioritize him/her over any one and would never hide any kind of friends or things from him. Loyalty is the word for it.

I’d like to end it by saying that technology is a boon and should be used for our benefits and not to fulfill our desires that destroy the belief in emotions, and relationships.

I ask you people if I have been forced to write on this topic and authenticity of the relationships today, isn’t this a common scenario….???

Sarabjit’s family reaches Pakistan!

Finally the Indian national Sarabjit’s Singh’s family reached to Pakistan crossing the Wagah border on Wednesday afternoon. After 18 long years the family is going to meet Sarabjit, who is in Pakistan jail, convicted of being an Indian spy and scheduled to be hanged on May 1.

Sarabjit’s daughters Swapandeep and Poonam, his wife Sukhpreet Kaur, his sister Dalbir Kaur and her husband Baldev Singh will meet him inside Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail later in the day.

Ansar Burney, former Human Rights minister of Pakistan would meet them on their arrival. Burney had also filed a fresh appeal for the clemency of Sarabjit.

Sarabjit has never seen his younger daughter, who was 23 days old when he had accidentally crossed into Pakistan in 1990 while the older one was two-and-a-half years old.

The family is likely to meet Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to appeal for his release.

External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Friday had issued a fresh appeal to Islamabad to grant clemency to Sarabjit on humanitarian grounds. There has not been any official response from Islamabad to Mukherjee’s appeal.

Bharatiya Janata Party leader L K Advani had also sought clemency for Sarabjit.

Official sources said the Indian government too had taken up Sarabjit`s case with the new coalition government led by the PPP shortly after it assumed office last month.

The Indian government is now hopeful that Sarabjit will be shown clemency.

Musharaff rejected Sarabjeet’s mercy petition!

After return of Kashmir Singh from Pakistan yesterday after 35 long years, there came some ray of hope for other such Indian prisoners to be released by Pak. But the plea of Sarabjeet Singh is rejected by Pakistan President Parvez Musharaff who is imprisoned in Pakistan jail for alleged involvement in 4 bomb blasts in Pakistan in 1990. The blast took away 14 lives. Pakistan government claims that he is a spy and the death warrant for him could be issued at any time.

Sarabjeet’s family insisted that he is innocent and accidentally strayed into Pakistani territory and for the same reasons a mercy petition had been sent by Sarabjeet to Musharaff seeking his release.

Two years ago, Musharraf had said he would take a decision about Sarabjit after looking into the legal aspects of his case. After thorough consideration it is rejected again. Earlier his petition is rejected during March 2006 by Supreme Court also.

Charges against him were found to be true and he was sentenced to death by the court. However his lawyer, Rana Abdul didn’t get any official information of rejection of the mercy petition.
