Would you like to be addressed as an Indian or a Maharashtrain or a Punjabi or a Gujrati? I would personally take pride in calling myself an Indian and would not like it if my rights and privileges were marginalized due to my place of birth.
But Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray seems to have very austere views about regionalism. He made some inflammatory remarks against north Indians that has led to incidents of violence in the state. He was arrested on the wee hours of Tuesday morning for his alleged involvement in the attack on north Indian candidates appearing for a railway recruitment examination.
“We will not let it happen again. I accept this is very bad for us. The state government’s image is tarnished. We will not allow this to happen again,” said Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh.
But hours after being arrested, he was granted bail on a surety of Rs 15,000 on Wednesday.
Raj Thackeray was also arrested eight months ago, and was let off on bail with a warning that there should be no repeat of violence. But the last warning didn’t seem to work. Everyone seems to be asking the same question – Will the warning work this time?
“Arrest me and be ready to bear the consequences…. You will have to regret,” this was the outcome of Raj Thackrey in a ceremony at Bahadursheikh Naka in Chiplun, on last night. After his arrest his supporters has started making noise too and police has to use some force to let them in control.

MNS leader Raj Thackray creating a fresh violence against North Indians in Maharashtra targeted the large number of North Indian Students pursuing their studies in Pune.
“Pune, with its large number of reputed universities and institutions imparting higher education is attracting students from these states who are being given admissions on massive donations leaving in the lurch the deserving Marathi aspirants,” Raj said at a party rally held in Pune on Sunday night.
Thackeray said he would not like to equate those coming from UP and Bihar with the people from other North Indian states. Even states like Punjab and Delhi harbor anti- UP-Bihari sentiments, he claimed.
“We will be watching these institutions as the new academic year is approaching. We know that these affluent students from UP and Bihar also indulge in eve teasing and arrogant behavior. If they persist with this they will be taught a lesson,” the MNS leader added.
Twenty-eight MNS activists, including party general secretary Deepak Paigude, were arrested by police for organizing the rally, defying the ban orders imposed to ensure smooth flow of traffic through the city.
Also the MNS leader challenged Railway Minister Lalu Prasad for the Chhatt Puja. He said, “if Railway Minister Lalu Prasad continued to challenge and provoke MNS, he would not be allowed to come out of Mumbai airport to perform it.”
“We are not against the puja but any attempt to turn it into a strength show on part of UP and Bihari migrants will not be tolerated,” he added.

Controversies and Verbal attack between MNS and Amitabh Bachchan seems not to have an end so soon. Replying to the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena supremo Raj Thackeray’s remarks against him, Amitabh Bachchan has stated that India is a free country and everyone has the right to live wherever they please.
Thackeray’s followers made fun of the actor and called him ‘Superstar Shetkari’ meaning farmer through a poster at Mumbai’s North Central area of Shivaji Park
A day earlier of it, Bachchan demanded the Lonavala land back, which had been donated to farmers displaced due to the construction of a dam.
And a day later in response to their action, Bachchan in a press conference for the International Indian Film Academy, of which Bachchan is the brand ambassador said, “The Indian Constitution has given me the right to live anywhere in the country. It is my fundamental right.”
Although he didn’t point MNS directly but Bachchan said, “Everybody has a right to the freedom speech but I only follow the law of the land, the Indian Constitution and my conscience. Besides that, I don’t bother about anything else.”
However he didn’t give any comment on the Lonavala land issue saying “The case is under judicery and I cannot talk about it.”

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has broke the silence against Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray’s claims that he was contributing more for Uttar Pradesh than Maharashtra.
Turning down the claims Big B said that allegations made by Raj do not deserve attention.
Speaking during an interview to a Mumbai newspaper, Bachchan said, “This is a free country and every individual enjoys the liberty of free speech. The law of the land and its Constitution are supreme. Every Indian should be affected by that. Random charges are random; they do not deserve the kind of attention you wish me to give.”
Everyone is aware of the violence and controversies going against North Indians in Mumbai and other part of Maharashtra. Recently during the violence, Raj claimed that Bachchan was more concerned to Uttar Pradesh as compared to Maharashtra.
Bachchan’s reaction came just a day before the MNS chief addresses his first public rally after the lifting of a court gag order against him.

We all are aware from the politics currently going on in Mumbai City. Raj Thackrey and Bala Saheb Thackrey has decided to pull the vote towards them by igniting the burning issue of “Mumbai kiski hai?”.
Today Bala saheb thackrey has claimed that “Ek Bihari Sau Bimari” which means that one single Bihari is the reason for hundred problems. This is the direct attack to the leaders and peoples of Bihar. Our honorable ministers from Bihar has raised this issue in the Parliament. Uma Bharti has also demonstrated against Raj and Bala Saheb Thackrey in Bhopal.
If Raj and Bala saheb Thackrey can ignite this type of issue then who is responsible for this? How can they are allowed to say such things which are against the constitution of India? Why our Police department is silent? Why the state Governement is not taking any action against Bal Thackrey for issuing such type of articles?
Yesterday a few film stars like Nana Patekar and Salman Khan along with Suniel Shetty and Shreyas Talpade has supported the move of Raj Thackrey. Why these people are coming ahead in an issue in which they are not suppose to involve?
“Jago India Jago” a famous tag line of an ad, suggesting us for doing some thing. Common Indians. The time has arrived when you are require to take action against these people. If you consider your self an Indian then you must take action against them. please don’t wait for some one else, that if he will do something then I will also do it.
Do whatever we can do by our self. First of all, don’t ever go to watch the movie of these film stars like Salman Khan, Nana Patekar, Suniel Shetty and Shreyas Talpade. We are not reuire to take part in any demonstration against the movies in which they are working but just we are not going to watch there movies can do a lot against them.
Who has made them super star? We all Indians. If we can maky any one a super star then we can teach them a good lesson too. Now the time has arrived when we are required to change our own Country? We are required to choose India or India. No second option is there, we are Indians and we will choose our country only.
