Post Affect of Jaipur Serial Blasts!
“Some wonderful American tourists came to the SMS Hospital to donate blood and to help nurse the injured - names as given in the papers here are Elizabeth, Avery, David and Esther. As a senior citizen of this city, I would like to thank them and invite them to my home. Can someone give me their contact number address?
Would greatly appreciate it.”
This comment by a concerned senior citizen (Mathur) over Jaipur serial bomb blast indicates the level of humanity among human. Foreign people are also coming forward to help the victims of the blast.
A wave of shock and terror spread with the blasting sounds of serial bomb blasts in the pink city on 13th May on Tuesday which killed many innocent people and left many others injured but the citizens faced the tragedy very bravely. The citizens united together to help the victims. Volunteers came forward to nurse the injured and admit them to hospitals.
Eight bombs went off within minutes of each other in crowded markets close to several Hindu temples in what police said was a terror attack on the city 260 kilometers (160 miles) west of New Delhi.
Bodies arrived quickly from one of half a dozen blast sites, family members had to search for loved ones and corpses were put into the morgue’s deep-freeze for identification through the coming hot day. Volunteers were actively engaged to help the people in searching their family members.
Some two dozen funerals took place across the city as mourning families burned or buried their dead. The scene was really heart throbbing and condition of victims was very pathetic. Global Blood Donor Organization was helping in blood requirement for the victims. Every concerned citizen of the city and the country is helping in his own way to cope the terror attack.
