Google news service planning to integrate Digg!

Digg and Google News

After Google-Yahoo AdSense deal, a new report says that Google is looking to integrate with one of the biggest news aggregator site, Digg into it news service to enable the company’s to monetize the news service. Google is foreseeing the deal profitable for its already popular news business.

While Digg is a natural fit for the Google news service, it is pertinent to mention that monetizing the news service is a difficult task and it would require a lot of skills to integrate the two companies with different cultures into a single mould.

Google is apparently planning to buy Digg for around $ 200 million. Digg’s founder Kevin Rosebe also said in interviews that he would be interested in selling the company if a right deal comes along.

The synergy of the goals of the two companies is very important and if that happens, a deal can be on the agenda, he said.

The arch-rival Microsoft has also shown interest in this deal generating interest over the way.

Both can create a big change for the future of Digg. Let’s see who will win!

ID card required for Delhi people!

Delhi people are advised to carry an identity proof with them while stepping out of their homes on or after 15 January, as the capital’s Lieutenant Governor, Tejendra Khanna, has issued orders making it obligatory for citizens to carry an identity proof with them in the wake of growing terror threats in the capital as well as across the nation.

The Delhi Police has announced that it will launch a special drive from January 15 as part of which people can be stopped and asked to prove their identity though it’s not decided about any action to be taken against the person who fails to furnish an ID proof.

Pan card, driving license, ration card etc. can be used as ID proof. Also the Delhi government has made it compulsory to carry a driver’s license issued by the NCT authorities if the vehicle is being driven in the national capital.

Those driving in the capital with driving license of other states will have to appear for a test and get license made by Delhi’s licensing authorities.
