Crime Graph: Highest number of murderers in India!
Known for its descent and graceful behavior, India also got an evil record of highest number of murderers of the world residing in the country or it can be said that highest number of murder happens in India. The number is thrice than in Pakistan and twice that of in America.
According to a government report by National Crime Bureau, at least 50 lakhs crime were registered in 2007-08 which mainly includes that of rape, murder and drugs. The report includes 32719 murders against 16,692 murders in America and 9631 in Pakistan.
South Africa follows India in the crime list which reports 30960 murders. Austria registered lowest of 148 murders competing against 177 of Israil in 2007-08.
However the ratio of crime over population is very low in India. There are 3 murders and 4 rapes over one lakh population while it is 65.27 and 115.8 respectively in South Africa.
S P Ranjan Bhagat from Delhi Police told that most of the murders happen because of aggressiveness and family disputes. There is 1.08 % of increase in murders in the capital city in 2007 as compared to the previous year.
America tops in rape cases where 93,934 cases were reported followed by 54,926 cases in Africa. There are 18,359 cases registered in India.
