Is Pakistan Heading Towards the Past Again?

Army Chief of Pakistan Mr. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani gave warning to the President Mr. Asif Ali zardari on March 9th, to set the country in order before one week time, has once again raised the fingers that Pakistan is heading towards the Military Rules once again.

A news report has claimed that Army chief has asked President to clean up the mesh in the country within 7 days otherwise he can take the decisions. Kayani who is the Army Chief of Pakistan after Musharraf resigned from the post, is looking towards the installation of the Military rule in Pakistan.

So the matter of concern is Pakistan heading towards the past again? The history of Pakistan confirms this. Kayani is also believed to have told Zardari to resolve the political issues plaguing the country particularly the reinstatement of judges before March 16.

It is well known that lawyers are demanding the reinstatement of judges removed by former President Pervez Musharraf from long time. Warning of the Kayani is a clear indication that he has made the mind to rule the country. Experts claims that Kayani is heading towards Military rule under the guidance of United States.

United States is concerned with the situation developing in the Northern Western Frontier Province, and they really want to control the situation there, but many people feel that Zardari is unable to tackle the situation. Political parties too don’t believe in Zardari’s ability to tackle the situation.

With the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team (Also read Which type of Game is it?) world is now started to look into the matter from the India’s eye. After the incident of 26/11 Indian Govt. is really concerned about the growth of the terror forces in Pakistan. Terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Taliban are challenging the government of Pakistan throughout the country.

Overall it’s a matter of big concern for India, as the neighboring countries are not stable. India is also concerned about what is going to happen after 16th March. If army chief of Pakistan take over the democratic government in Pakistan, then too it is not a good sign for India. At present we can only wait and watch.
