This time some thing related to fashion and beauty products. Last night I was watching a movie Fashion, and I just thought how much important these things are in our life. Especially when you are a female, and if you are some how related to the fashion industry, then you must take care of your beauty.
We are leaving in a fast life, and our life style too has changed these days. Girls or ladies always need to take care of their skin and beauty in this fast life only. They need to do lot’s of work along with taking care of their beauty. For this they always need some extra ordinary beauty products, so that they can always maintain their beauty and skin properly. So today I thought to check a few beauty products and I reached to Beautiful Review. They are having a lot of products related to wrinkle cream, anti-wrinkle and facial beauty products.
For the first time in my life I came across so many beauty products, otherwise I was not at all aware even from the name of those products. Like, I came to know about Bellaplex, one of the finest and award winning and top rated wrinkle reduction and prevention cream. This is really useful. Other products like NuPhedrine, Hydrolyze, AlphaDerma, Miracle Slim Wrap, Derma Wand etc. are too good. This site has many more reviews of anti-wrinkle and beauty products other than these. I hope the female visitors of my site would get benefit from all these products.

6 tips to avoid common fashion mistakes!

Fashion, if taken in the positive sense can stand for glamor, beauty and style. But if taken in the negative sense, it can be a synonym of fads and trends (the bandwagon effect) and materialism. We all like to look sensational and smart, but are we being cautious enough not to overdo it? The answer to this question is not always affirmative. We come across numerous examples of people (especially females) who go overboard in their pursuit of looking “fashionable”.
Here are a few tips to avoid common fashion mistakes:
- Wear clothes of right size: wearing small and skimpy clothes generally makes one look vulgar rather than appealing, as it highlights all the bulges of the body. On the other hand, wearing baggy outfits makes one look fatter and shabby. So try and find the right sized clothes for yourself, instead of experimenting with bigger or smaller sizes.
- Don’t wear wrinkled garments: Just imagine how you would react if you see a person wearing a wrinkled dress in a party. An ironed and wrinkle free outfit is always appreciated by everyone as it gives a perception of a neat and clean personality.
- Don’t try to dodge your age: Dress according to your age. Make-up might hide some wrinkles of an aging face, but a wrong dress would not be able to hide a sagging older body. On the contrary, dressing according to your age would reflect maturity and elegance. Always remember that there are numerous fashions and styles and there is one to suit you – You don’t have to follow every fashion because you have seen a celebrity wear it or seen it in a fashion show.
- Avoid too many colors: Everyone cannot look good in the “Govinda style “of clothes. A maximum of three colors is soothing to the eyes. Anything more than that might make you look messy and foolish.
- Use accessories wisely: If chosen and worn properly, accessories can be used to enhance ones good points and hide his or her flaws. For example: avoid wearing a short chain or a choker if you don’t want to draw attention towards your neck as these accessories will make your neck look longer. Don’t carry a big bag with an evening gown as it just does not go with that attire. Remember sometimes even less is more so use the accessories carefully and help them add to your charm.
- Chose your shoes to match your outfit: As a general rule the clothes and shoes should be of same color. Black is an exception as it goes with everything.
We all try to ape our favorite film star or the most popular person in school or college, but we have to be careful that this fashion faux pas doesn’t make us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. It’s important to keep in mind the occasion for which you are dressing up. It’s important to know when to carry a sporty look and when to look more feminine. Having the right kind of hairstyle, wearing make-up in accordance to your complexion, wearing the right kind of undergarments and perfume would definitely turn heads in your direction. Always remember that the mantra is to look ‘sexy’ and not tacky.

Indian Fashion becomming a niche in American Culture!
Sep 4, 2008 Lifestyle
Indian economy has prospered during the last 5 years. It is now recognized as a global player in the information technology industry, developing and exporting software as well as software professionals. However, India has another fast growing export – Indian clothes.
Asian Indian fashion has found a niche in popular American culture. After Liv Tyler was featured adorning mehndi in a popular magazine, just about everything Asian Indian became popular. It suddenly became chic for Americans to wear a sari, adorn a bindi or wear mehndi. The traditional dress of India is influencing western fashion in a big way. The result: easy, soft, summer clothes – flowing skirts, charming camisoles and exotic sandals – made with beautiful rich sari trims, swirling prints, intricate embroidery and charka symbols. Apart from celebrities embellishing Indian clothes, a major reason for this growing influence is the rapid expansion of Indian community in America. According to American Community Survey of the U.S. Census Bureau, Indians have become the second largest Asian community after Chinese who have shown a growth rate of 38% in the last few years. California and New York are 2 major cities where one can find a large Indian population. And these two cities are also among the major fashion hubs of USA. So popularity of Indian clothes among Americans is inevitable.
Saris, with their golden threads, intricate embroidery and innate romance have always attracted Westerners. Supermodel Naomi Campbell wore a sari at the MTV Music Awards, and Goldie Hawn, a great fan of India, often wears saris to social events. Sari stores thrive in many Indian enclaves in America. Among the largest is India Sari Palace in New York, with a vast inventory from India. Many communities, such as the Gujarati, wear mostly saris, and so there is a constant demand in America. Just looking at the stores in Little India’s across America indicates that sari is thriving. In the 60s, many women were reluctant to wear saris in the US, afraid they would stand out. But in multicultural America in the 90s there seems to be a new pride in one’s roots. Designers have revitalized this centuries old Indian wear to give it a new and trendy look. Georgette and net sari’s with heavy thread work sell like hot cakes as they appeal a lot to the younger generation.
Another Indian wear which is becoming increasing fashionable in America is the Kurti (shorter form of kurta, usually up to the hips, worn by girls over a skirt or pants). Kurti’s have become such a rage that they can even be found in big stores like Macy’s, JCPenny, Kohls etc. Techniques such as block printing, cross-stitch, kantha work; beadwork and mirror work on Kurti’s is appreciated a lot by Americans/ NRI’s.
Americans are always fascinated by the intricate work done by hand on Indian clothes and that’s the reason why woolen shawls, stoles and scarves are a lot in vogue. The main reason for the popularity of woolen stoles might be because they can be worn on any dress, be it a traditional Indian suit, a sari or a western outfit.
Every American city nowadays has a ‘Little India’ which caters mainly to the needs of Indian population right from groceries to clothes. These markets would be the best bet to find the latest clothes. Besides such markets there might be some exclusive boutiques which could help personalize outfits depending on one’s choice. Information about such boutiques should be easily available on internet. Indianisation of fashion in America is growing at a rapid pace as the world is becoming increasingly fascinated by our clothes. It might not be a surprise if a few years later the Indian attire is well accepted as a graceful executive wear in USA.

Mar 30, 2008 Entertainment
The ongoing Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) 2008 is rocked by many top Bollywood stars on show. The celebrities sizzled the ramp in top Indian designer’s creations in Mumbai.
The main attraction of the show included the first time ramp walk by the Saawariya fame Ranveer Kapoor. He showcased his designer friend Arjun Khanna’s collection. People gave a cheerful applause for the graceful Ranveer in an embroidered long coat with standing collar, straight pants in batik print and a scarlet tied around the neck.
Neetu Kapoor and Deepika Padukone cheered Ranbir as he walks the ramp for Arjun Khanna.
“I’m a bit degraded as far as fashion is concerned. All I know is through Arjun. He’s very passionate about everything in his life from designing clothes to his cars and bikes and even interior decoration. I love this guy to death and he asked me if I could walk on the ramp and I was more than happy to walk as I also love his fashion,” said Ranbir Kapoor.
Khanna’s collection offered evergreen slim fitted pants and cropped jackets. “Fabrics were coarser in my collection. I am looking at the fall-winter. I played with fabrics like Coudray, Cotton Coudray and Woolen Coudray. There is a lot of technique which went into making of all these clothes,” said Khanna.
Other Bollywood icons on the show include Urmila Matondkar, Farah Khan, Amrita Rao, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. King Khan’s wife Gauri Khan was also there to grace the occasion.
Saif admitted to his relationship with Kareena at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai last year. This year too the couple was spotted at designer Manish Malhotra’s showing.
It was for the first time the Bath and body product giant Lux showcased a line at the Lakme Fashion Week. Bollywood designer Manish Malhotra inspired by Lux’s new fruit extracts - strawberry, cream, peaches and put on display an array of flirty, feminine garments in shades of pink, ivory, oyster and coral.
“I have done it long time back when Urmila Matondkar walked on the ramp for the first time then. Then Preity Zinta, Kajol, Karishma Kapoor and Urmila all of these girls who have walked for me have worked with me for ten years. They believe in my brand, they believe in me, I believe in them and we had a long association but I just feel that now it has become that let’s make so and so walk. So I think now it is time that I don’t make any one walk so today I was the Lux boy,” said Manish.
Overall the day went totally unique and exclusive presenting the cool summer spring collections of Indian designers.
