The year 2008 was not so good for the box office collection, but the last week of the year provided the best performance of the year 2008. It was the release of the Ghajini on 25th December which changed the trends. Here are the lists of ten movies of the year 2008 which I liked the most:

1> Number one is Ghajini:

Not only because of the performance on the box office, it strikes me due to the superb love story between Aamir Khan and Asin Thottumkal. The performance of both the actors is superb in the movie. It went out to break all the records in the very first week only.

2> Number two is Singh is King:

One of the biggest blockbuster hit of the year was Singh is King. It showed once again the on screen chemistry between Akshay Kumar and sweat Katrina Kaif. During the first two weeks after the release of the movie, it earned more than 100 crore in India and abroad. The music of Singh is King was superb.

3> Number three is Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na:

Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na is one of the finest movies of the year. The on screen chemistry between the debutant Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza was superb and liked by most of the people.

4> Number four is Jodhaa-Akbar:

This year Hritik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai rocked the big screen with their superb performance in the movie Jodhaa-Akbar. This movie created a bit of controversy and thus caused a bit of violence too in some parts of the country.

5> Number five is Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi:

Although I personally did not like the movie but my girl friend liked this movie very much. Shahrukh Khan did the superb acting in both the look, while Anushka Sharma was superb in her first movie. The best supporting actor in the movie was Vinay Pathak. He did the fantastic job in the movie.

6> Number six is A Wednesday:

A movie which in fact shocked me is A Wednesday. Superb performance by Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher made this movie as an excellent one.  Though I did not get the chance to watch it in the theatre but when I watched this movie I became a bit surprised and I regret that I missed watching it in the theatre.

7> Number seven is Dostana:

Although I did not liked the movie but it was one of the biggest hit of the year 2008. The reason for which I did not like the movie is because I did not liked the story, but I liked the superb performance by all the three lead actors Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra.

8> Number eight is Jannat:

The superb performance by Sonal Chauhan and one superb song “Zara Sa Mujh Ko” made this movie as a hot one. The movie Jannat was based on the controversial death of the cricket coach Bob Woolmer.

9> Number nine is Rock On:

Farhan Akhtar rocked the big screen with his acting and singing for the first time in this movie. Arjun Rampal and Shahana Goswami both were superb in the movie. It became one of the biggest hit because of its superb story.

10> Number Ten is Golmaal Returns:

One of the most talked about movie of the year was Ajay Devgan starer Golmaal Returns, which was actually a sequel of the movie Golmaal which was a big hit in the year 2006. Although it did not become so much big but still people like this movie.
