Every year we think whether India would be able to win an Academy Awards or not, but through out my life I never get the chance to see any Indian movie to get these prestigious award. For the first time in my life I am expecting that India will be able to bring the Academy Awards this time.
The expectations are too high and you know from which film. Yes I am talking about Slumdog Millionaire, which is nominated in 11 categories Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design, Best Editing, Best Score, Best Song, and Best Sound Mixing.
The movie Slumdog Millionaire already won the Golden Globe for the first time for India. With this victory Slumdog Millionaire has generated huge expectations among we Indians, and we would really be happy to see them winning the Academy Awards.
