Today I watched Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and the movie is awsome. SRK is fabulous.

I also watched and for me it was only a piece of shit.

I always wonder why shar rukh khan cannot do realistic movies like swades. Why does he always come out who can amaze every girl. I always see him saying that he is interested more in making many than satisfying critics, but I am sure he can never satisfy critics becuase he lacks the quality acting like aamir or amitabh. He might be a big superstar, but not a good actor.

“Rab ne bana di jori”- a movie which has played a great role in the Indian hearts. It was not only wonderful but a glamorous movie. I always wait expectantly for King Khan’s movie that when it will release and shake the nation. RNBDJ was awsome!!!!!

I’m not indian.I’m Sri Lankan.I’ve watched both movies.I think Rab ne is superb.Because it has a fresh story.Ghajini is a total copy of the english movie memento.What’s wrong with Bollywood?Why do they make remakes of hollywood?I was thoroughly disappointed after watching Ghajini.We need Hindi movies to be real indian, and not photocopies of english ones.
Whereas Rab ne is a fresh story with real indian spirit on it. Both Rab ne and Jodha Akbar were far better than Ghajini.SRK rox.Amir sux.

Hi im Faraz Ahmed from Karachi Pakistan………Im fan of both these actors Shahrukh And Aamir…..i have watched RNBDJ and Ghajni …..and i feel that RNBDJ was better than Ghajni ….i feel that in RNBDJ it was a team effort and not only shahrukh did well but the newcomer Anushka did very well whereas in Ghajni its a one man show and the movie’s length is too long i mean who can bear a more than 3 hour movie no matter how good is it….and in ghajni there are many flaws in the story whereas RNBDJ is a family movie……

about aamir’s ghajini, it is a remale, no doubt bt its fabolous, i have seen momentoo and tamil version. it is totally different than momento, not a copy, just the short term memory loss idea is same, that u can say in love stories every one uses the idea of love. so its different but remake of tamil version, still it rocks as aamir has better acting skills than his tamil counterpart. i loved it. it is not best of aamirs movies but still better than aal of srk, he really need a real movie to prove his worth

Ghajini is a far better movie than the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Shahrukh Khan has not produced any good movie, all the movie which he do is of big brands only, on the other hand Aamir Khan did the fabulous movies like Taare zamin Per, Lagaan etc. Movies of Aamir Khan generally gives some message to the society. SRK in RNBDJ is really bad, specially the second role of SRK is too bad and cheap.

I Have Seen Both RNBDJ and Ghajini. The Performance Made By Aamir Khan In Ghajini Was Good and The Extreme Fighting Was So Good That You Couldn’t Take Your Eyes Of it. Shah Rukh Khan As Suri Made Good Performance and Raj Made Good As Well. Songs Of The Movie Were Both Good. The Songs In Ghajini Were Okay However, RNBDJ Had Fantastic Music. Even The Newcomers Had Good Performances. Overall I’d Stick With RNBDJ

Mr Akshay Kumar has 1 Best actor award and Mr Aamir has 2 awards, Where The King of all Khans and than King of Bollywood has 11 Filmfare awards out of which he has 7 best actor Filmfare awards. So its very clear like Crystal that Aamir and Akshay has to achieve more than 6 awards as compare them self with Sharukh King. Akshay and Aamir wants to rule the Bollywood kingdom which is been rulling by King Khan from past 10 years.

I have seen both the movies and i rate RNBDJ with 4.5 stars and Ghajini with 3 Stars. RNBDJ has no boring moments, it is indeed full of fun & emotions. whereas Ghajini impresses in segments, few ones are very good while others are very bad or boring. RNBDJ narrates a new story while Ghajini is a poor copy of ‘Memento’. Both films have fine lead Actors supported by good debutants. RNBDJ answers all the questions, it raises. Ghajini left with most questions unanswered. Adi Chopra is a refined hindi film director while the direction of A R Muru.. has southern impact. Ghajini is a overhyped movie. RNBDJ came with little endorsements. Overall RNBDJ is a must for all hindi cine lovers whereas Ghajini is just another hindi movie.

Ghajini, a realistic film….lol that was joke of the millenium. On the contrary, ask any married man, who is engrossed in his daily chores and he will probably feel the same as Suri. Hats off to SRK for portraying the character of Suri and Raj at the same time

Talk about acting. Aamir is Aamir in every role, be it Kayamat Se…or Jo Jeeta, or Ghajini or Taare Jaamin par – he never gets into the skin of the character. Whereas SRK can be Kabir Khan, he can be Suri, he can be the NRI. SRK has this ability to make a character alive. Comparing both of them is like comparing Dileep Kumar and Sanjiv Kumar. Whereas Sanjiv Kumar’s acting skills were legendry, Dileep Kumar remained Dileep Kumar in every film. So there.

I watched both the movies. I liked both of them. RNBDJ was a good entertainer not like aamir’s one man army with no statagic killing where he was doing every stuff staratagically. However, songs of Ghajini sucks except Gujarish. In ghajini director gave his some anti physics stunts as that was expected coz he is from down south.

On other hand both ghajini (Hindi, Tamil) copied from the Memento which was awesome. Where RNBDJ was a new concept and linked with every other married person who try to be studs coz they love there wife and want to be hero in there eyes.

it really gets me how that man (SRK) can feed indian people tutti and have them believe its ras malaayi .. frkin hell people how can u not feel cheated having spent your money to get to watch that film RNBDJ.. i would describe RNBDJ as a fiasco that happens when a few clowns gain access to money and photographic equipment…

And although I won’t say Ghajini is tops, it still does impress you .. you don’t feel cheated, maybe a bit unsatisfied..

Aamir is far ahead than SRK. Loke at the roles of Aamir. Lagaan, Sarfarosh, Rang De Basanti etc.

I have seen both the movies and I live in Chicago, IL USA!!! I am also a KHAN so I love watching any movie starring Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, or Shahrukh Khan!!! Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was a wonderful movie. It actually touches your heart! On the other hand, Ghajini was also spectacular. I have never seen the tamil version or the English version called Memento, but the story of the movie is entertaining. Aamir Khan does superb acting!!! If I had to pick between these 2 as the best movie of 2008…..I would have to pick Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi because of the effort the entire cast put into it. As for best actor award, I guess Aamir deserves it for his 8 pack abs. But for those criticizing Shahrukh that he can’t act……wait till his new movie My Name is KHAN comes out. His performance will blow you away.

Ghajini is a reely well made film and Amir’s performance made the movie excellent……..his body expressions were awesum!!! Rabne Bana di Jodi sukd…….there wasnt anything special abt the movie. SRK did wat he usually does……….nothing special!!!

Ghajini is a remake of the tamil movie with the same tittle, The twist in the Hindi version is good, but surya (hero in tamil Ghajini) looked and acted far better than Aamir.

What do we expect from a movie? Entertainment. But if that comes with any other added value then that’s well and good. To those of you, so called ‘die hard fans’ whatever your actor (super hero, self claimed King, Mr. Perfectionist, whatsoever) does is liked by you. But you just can’t do the unbiased and objective commentary.

RNBDJ is a hit and Ghajini is also a hit. That means people have come out, watched the movies and liked them. Again that is the movies have succeeded in entertaining the population. Which again means that the movies are good. However, if we are to compare the two movies then I would rather say GHAJINI transcends the Bollywood boundaries as far as dedication of the actors are concerned. RNBDJ comes as an ordinary flick, though with sublime acting skills by the lead actors, but does not qualify to salvage the savour offered by GHAJINI. GHAJINI reflects the unmatched consistency and discipline of an actor, who was otherwise, never thought of performing such a character. But when he does come out playing the character against all odds, he gathers loads and loads of admiration and definitely accolades that will still not suffice the need to bring in such sheer dedication into film-making and acting. I think this attempt by Aamir, no hard feeling to SRK, is a milestone which should not be contained but should be extended to further height and we viewers can relish the charm of watching excellent and breath-taking movie as has been GHAJINI to me.

Dear MARVI, how can you say that RNBDJ is a realistic film? Have you ever seen such a decent guy can change to a cheap guy within a few minutes?

On the other hand Ghajini is a superb movie, which can happen to any one any where.

I think They both was great Rab Ne was a great family movie which actually showed the whole meaning of love. SRK done a different type of role different to other actors. I mean in Salman khan always has the same type of lifestyle in nearly all of hi films, if Salman khan was going to do a film like that then it would be called Rab Ne Bana Body :S. Amir Khans Ghajini was a great Thriller and he and SRK can not win this. This Debate has no winner.

People don’t have taste. Although Ghajini is a remake of a pre-inspired movie. But it is a far better than RNBDJ. How many people have seen original movies(Ghajini-Tamil or memento). It is something new for hindi cinema. Even AK’s every previous movie like TZP,RDB were based on something totally new for hindi movies. We are not talking about actor’s personal life,height, weight and looks. We are talking about movies. If any person doesn’t watch AK’s movies. He/she doesn’t have the right to compare his movie with any other star. I like AK more, but that doesn’t mean i dislike SRK. If any of you guys watched RNBDJ carefully, you would realize that Anushka spent very little time with Shah Rukh Khan in the movie. They slept in different rooms and she never even looked at him carefully. Of course it’s possible that she didn’t recognize him–he looks like a different person without the mustache and glasses AND she never even gave him a second look as her husband! Wake up people!! How can you compare an original idea like RNBJ with a copy of a ENglish film Memento aka Ghajini? I always thought Aamir was a very original actor–I’m very disappointed that he chose to blatantly copy a Hollywood film for his movie Ghajini. He needs to invest more in an original story than investing in his various get-ups for Ghajini. Also, SRK is a family man which I respect as compared to Aamir who left his wife for someone he had an affair with during Lagaan. What a loser!

Let me remind u of Lagaan, Dil Cahta hai, taare zameen par, Rang de basanti etc..not jus the movie n story even the songs are gras well as different and lagaan was even in the hollywood oscars ……For SRK Mohabattein, DDLJ, Darr, Anjam big pathatic, Om shanti om, n now RNBJ same same same…..they have only one common thing so i think Aamir in the King and until now he is on top ……..

Those who are talking about realistic and unrealistic script, you need to first decide before entering inside a theatre whether you are going for entertainment or a documentary of living life-style or true story. The other thing is, how many Hollywood movies that are released every year have the brace of reality to an average viewer? Let try to go beyond our imagination. Don’t forget ‘IMAGINATION IS THE FATHER OF ALL CREATION’.

To add one more point;

When the film-maker has already pronounced in public that the film is a remake why do we have to make of fuss of it. Its a copy, let the viewer choose if they want to watch it and like it. A film cannot be bad only because of its adaptation from another film. GHAJINI is a genuine adaptation, so no more questions about it? Pratice objectivity… that will give room for improvement.

listen guys…anyone in their sane mind would know that rab ne bana di jodi was an extremely superficial flick with no sense whatsoever. If you wanna see shahrukh, go download a poster…watching this movie is an absolute waste of time…and compared to amir khan, shahrukh’s acting seems soooooooo worthless….ghajini actually leaves an impact whereas its counterpart leaves u with a bad taste in the mouth!

Hey guy’s, this is for those who are saying SRK is better than Aamir, then please do let me know if he has worked in any movie of small banners? Aamir is a guy who can work for any banner, does not need Yash Raj Camp every time. Also his movies always gives some message to the society. On the other hand SRK is continuously repeating his acting since after DDLJ.

About awards too, SRK pays to get those awards, while Aamir does not care about awards. After all Aamir is the Mr. Perfectionist. I have seen the Momento too, but Aamir made the Ghajini as much better than that.

It is Shah Rukh khan. Only. May be the song of Ghajini ( “Gujarish” – copy of “Suraj Hua Madhayam” of K3G) & Rab Ne ( “Tujh Me Rab Dikhta”) can be comparissisable. But for god sake, don’t caparison with the acting part and story part of the both. Rab Ne is far away from Gajni. Only promotion and hair style can’t make a film popular. I waited to have new movie buzz to come down and then I watched movies.

First thing I AM NOT A BIG FAN OF SRK, “BUT” the reasons RNBDJ is better than Ghajiniare (It is a real neutral opinion):
1. A family movie (no adult content like sex/violence).
After such a violence and killing around us a movie based on it doesn’t make more appeal to hearts.
2. SRK’s acting of a common working professional was such that many of critics never realized that SRK was acting a role of common Indian.
That’s a success of a real actor.
3. He has guts like (Amitabh) to perform different level of acting in a single movie.
4. Story has a message for men and women who have started or going to start a family.
That is “WHOEVER YOU ARE WHEREVER YOU ARE, YOU CAN MAKE YOUR LIFE WONDERFUL AND YOU HOME A HAVEN WITH JUST LOVE AND SACRIFICE FOR EACH OTHER and MONEY AND PHYSICAL APPEARACE IS NOTHING.”
The message was so great that only that is far enough to appreciate the movie. On top of that, artists performance made it real and natural.
5. RNBDJ movie need to be viewed with careful listening of dialogues and super delivery.
6. Songs are pleasant.
* 7. It was SRK who told his fans to go and also watch Amir Khan’s Ghajini.
*8. RNBDJ was put on non holiday week!! and even before Ghajini.
(Only SRK movie could dare doing that)
*9. RNBDJ took out movie lovers to unlock their door and come out to see “MOVIES”.
*10. RNBDJ made a slot in top Indian movies which are considered “SadaBahar” (Evergreen).
BTW, I am fan of SRK and Amir Khan and don’t want to put any negative comments to Amir’s Ghajini, which did best but after RNBDJ.

Didn’t se RNBDJ. I saw Ghajni. Most mediocre movie i’ve seen. Nothing special. I wish Aamir did more movies where he actually acted. In Ghajini, in the first 30 min and last 30 min-he takes his shirt off and screams. and the beats the crap out of everyone. In america-Van damme does such roles and he considered a really bad actor! In the late 90’s at least he used to roles with real emotion and feeling. He sold out, in order to get international awards. People are stupid who think the move was great, or unique or well acted. Its a rip-off with zero story and no acting involved (I think aamir is good in general though).

Once again, please tell me where was the acting in Ghajini?
