Would you like to be addressed as an Indian or a Maharashtrain or a Punjabi or a Gujrati? I would personally take pride in calling myself an Indian and would not like it if my rights and privileges were marginalized due to my place of birth.

But Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray seems to have very austere views about regionalism. He made some inflammatory remarks against north Indians that has led to incidents of violence in the state. He was arrested on the wee hours of Tuesday morning for his alleged involvement in the attack on north Indian candidates appearing for a railway recruitment examination.

“We will not let it happen again. I accept this is very bad for us. The state government’s image is tarnished. We will not allow this to happen again,” said Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh.

But hours after being arrested, he was granted bail on a surety of Rs 15,000 on Wednesday.

Raj Thackeray was also arrested eight months ago, and was let off on bail with a warning that there should be no repeat of violence. But the last warning didn’t seem to work. Everyone seems to be asking the same question – Will the warning work this time?

“Arrest me and be ready to bear the consequences…. You will have to regret,” this was the outcome of Raj Thackrey in a ceremony at Bahadursheikh Naka in Chiplun, on last night. After his arrest his supporters has started making noise too and police has to use some force to let them in control.

India is a democratic country and every citizen is free to move and live as per their will. Our constitution does not permit this kind of freedom what Honable MNS leader shown to masses of India. He is mentally sick and need to be sent to mental hospital. If this does not work then life term jail. We are continuously facing one problem or other (hindu muslim right, terrorist attack and other violence) but Mr. Raj Thackrey is not satisfied with this, he perhaps need more, that’s why he is instigating hatred against north Indian.
We must pray for peace and harmony not the violence.
Mr. Raj, you need to think in corner of your house, perhaps you might notice that all these activities are going to catch you and will be rewarded with interest by divine. There is no Maharastrian or Bihari or UP, we all are citizen of one country.

It is our challege to replace all the media people with marathi and gujarati people and the fact will be released that the samekind of GUNDAGARDI is being happened in UP AND BIHAR. The media specially Electronic media is having majority of North Indians so we can’t rely on them while they biased to UP AND BIHAR.Every time they found ciricising only Gujarati Narendra Modei and Marathi Raj Thackrey. Don’t we compare dustbean with flowerpot. We are united with Marathis this time. Mulayam Gunad and Lalu Gunda are more dangerous for nation than Narendra MOdi and Raj Thackrey. Gujarat and Maharashrtra are Flowerpot in our drawing room. Only Lalu is responsible for Rahul’s death because of this type of tapori madarchod politicians the Bihar is still living in 15th century.

Hello !

First of all Mr.Factfinder pls behave the way in which you are talking this is the difference which we are talking doing things being aggressive or calm, Raj Thackrey is so agressive while giving his statements that the whole lot of public following him multiplies the agression 10X and takes the riots further, if he is so worried why dosent he file a PIL and keep the things in front of the court,

the last time these riots took place was removing north indians from Mumbai as i saw raj’s interview on Sahara Samay on (RKB Show) he told that the city’s is now enough saturated to its limits, so why were the northindians from Nashik were thrown out, it was recorded that more than 10000 ppls lest Nashik,

Other than improving the infrastructure of the city you are devastating it, you cant blame somebody(NI’s) to do so, tommorrow you will tell that ppl coming from Nagpur or Satara are non-mumbaites, if not probably you then your childrens will say so,

whats left in mumbai is only the HO’s of all the big companies so we proudly say that mumbai gives 30% of tax dosent matter if the sources of income were offices all around India, do you see any good development in mumbai, I DONT SEE ANY!, the so said good projects like the Metro & the Sealink are to be completed by time they are lagging a hell of time behind, we have to understand that if the corporate sector sees a need to avoid such regional cases in offices (as what TATA did with Singur) then within a flick they will shift their offices to other places or they will even keep them Floating in air but not in Mumbai or Maharashtra,

talking about Narendra modi, pls let me know if he has given any against statement against anybody, what i see in Gujarat is a clear good exponential development, so thats why even when Maharashtra govt. gave a call for nano project it went to Gujrat this was not the issue anyhow but as Narendra Modi’s name was over there i spoke it,

while these riots our office was close for 2 days lets count the cost of 100 employees 300 rs / day gets it to 60000, is that a small amount, i am sure companies were in a bigger that this loss and no work done,

the person next to me hurts me and i cant say anything as he is a MNS person, i shall narrate a incidence once i went to a pan shop and i saw a person who took a cigarate costing 3rs, he said i have 2rs, if u want to take then haveit or else forget it and the shopkeeper said nothing just becoz he was a North Indian, after tolerating so much and they have to suffer a lot

on one part raj is a bit correct on Mumbai issue but i am living in this city since i was born and can surely affirm that the way he is working wont do a bit good for the city, but all good for himself,

Elections are near and lets see what he does when he goes to Parliament (AT DELHI) and what good he does for us the so called Mumbaites

Raj thackrey is prying on poor and silly people, leaving in identity crisis. This has happened in past and happening againg. In the name of Race, he is polarizing great city and not city let progress to its true heights it deserved.
This kind of social worms shud be deep fried and then thrown in garbage without notice, instead of arrest and court cases and wasting people’s time.
