Google news service planning to integrate Digg!
After Google-Yahoo AdSense deal, a new report says that Google is looking to integrate with one of the biggest news aggregator site, Digg into it news service to enable the company’s to monetize the news service. Google is foreseeing the deal profitable for its already popular news business.
While Digg is a natural fit for the Google news service, it is pertinent to mention that monetizing the news service is a difficult task and it would require a lot of skills to integrate the two companies with different cultures into a single mould.
Google is apparently planning to buy Digg for around $ 200 million. Digg’s founder Kevin Rosebe also said in interviews that he would be interested in selling the company if a right deal comes along.
The synergy of the goals of the two companies is very important and if that happens, a deal can be on the agenda, he said.
The arch-rival Microsoft has also shown interest in this deal generating interest over the way.
Both can create a big change for the future of Digg. Let’s see who will win!
