These people are supporting those politician’s who are using the politics of language to divide our country. Hey Guys.. I would like to put some light on the article written by Balasaheb Thackeray. I read that article and he has not written anything offensive for Bihari People. He criticized the politicians of Bihar because of whom this situation has raised. I want to ask all my friends from Bihar one thing.. What will you do if someone will come in your house without invitation and would true to do DADAGIRI in your own house. This is what happening in Mumbai. Anyone can stay anywhere …this is true. But before that everyone should learn to respect the local people.
And why this is happening only with the people of Bihar and UP? has anyone tried to think over it?
The author of this article himself written that Sunil Shetty, or Salman Khan… these people have nothing to do with this issue. So why they are supporting it? just for the fame? do they really need any fame from such issues?

Though neither I am a Bihari nor a Mumbaian but being a concerned citizen I think a cheap political game is running in Mumbai air. These leaders are totally got corrupted and just wanted to get their personal politics gains by dividing people. ‘Divide and conquer’ is an old rule to win. Why our people not understanding this shoddy purpose of this political war? English people had been ruling our country for long years following the same policy. And I am sure no one here wants the same scene back even not at state level. Whatever be the plea of our country, leaders are interested only in their personal benefit. What a shameful politics! Today is a free India and everyone has right to settle in any part of it without any fear. Who this Raj and Bala Thackray to order them and snatch their freedom? These leaders seem to be the real enemies to our nation. And I don’t understand why these bollwood figures jumped into the war. What a taste of getting polluted!

I am totally against whats going on in Amchi Mumbai. I think that Thakres have crossed the line of decency and are now hurling abuses on people from Bihar. This is nothing but a political gimmick & a very cheap one indeed. As an Indian we have the rights to make a living anywhere in the country. And all the Thakres are doing is creating a negatice impression about the tolerance level of the Marathis. I have nothing agaisnt the Marathis personally, but are they dumb enough to support such a move. I also live in a cosmopolitan city like Calcutta, and such issues are non-starters here. I would like to see Bal Thakrey get reprimanded for the comment he made.
As far as the movie people getting involved, they will do anything for publicity. Not a big issue to me.

We are not here to blame any group, religion or caste. Biharis and other North Indians are living in Mumbai for long time then what happened today to these Mumbai leaders to create such a dirty scene? And how can u say that Biharis are the most unhygienic?? I don’t know whose house you visited but all are not the same. Bihar is also a part of India. We can’t ignore it like this. But to post such cheap comments on them can’t be said to fair.

The intention of the article is not to further enhance the war. The words simply request to settle the matter peacefully by simply refusing to support the selfish leaders. And if someone is bad and then who will guide the proper way to them? If we can’t help them to show the right way to live then we have no right to blame them for their way of living. And if only Biharis are wrong then why North Indians and other Hindi-people are also targeted???

I am not a Bihari, but I am no one to blame them that they are dirty. Sangita said right. All the people from Maharashtra who are posting comments here are arguing the same thing but in some different way that those people are doing some thing wrong there in Maharashtra. Let me ask you a question, why the police administrator are silent on this issue? If the Bihari people are spreading the “Gandagi” in Mumbai then why the police or administrator were so silent? Those who are claiming to be the politicians of Maharashtra, complained about this to the state Government? WHY ARE THEY BEATING THE COMMON PEOPLE?

Well, Indians has shown that they are also recist. No police comes to help common man while they will just try to squeezze the common man and get their benefits.

I have realized that the non mumbaikars here really dont know the ground situation.
The influx of cheap bhiyyas (aka biharis) is putting a strain on the resources on the city. The slums are ever increasing. Also the crime rate if up cos these ppl from UP/Bihar who land up in millions in mumbai have difficulty getting a job cos ppl dont trust them.. and end up being criminals.
That they make the city dirty is without doubt true not only cos of the slums that increase cos of them but also cos of the irritating habit of biharis to spit the “pan”/Gutka. Biharis are pan lovers, while that is not a problem to us mumbaikars.. but they spit any where and everywhere. Uneducated as they are, u cant expect anything better 4om them. Just throw them out of the city. Perhaps, during partition, we should have kept sindh and surrounding areas and given Bihar and UP of to them.
I am not a maharashtrian, but I have lived in Mumbai,maharashtra all my life and I am loyal to my city/state. Even gujaratis and marwadis who come to mumbai learn the local language.. the bihari’s are a nuisance.

1. Politician of Bombay
They know that the election is coming up and they are loosing ground in the heart of voter. They raised this issue. Why have not they raised this before? The only purpose of this whole matter is that they want to show people that they care for them. Just see after one year of election they will not even talk about this any more and even if they win they will not do anything for this.
2. Politician of Bihar
They has the same motive as all the politician has that they want to make some impression on the voters for the upcoming election. I do not understand why people are going into the character of the politicians of Bihar.. the same Laloo turned the Railway to profit making cow on which the upcoming Railway minister will ride..Isnt there politician in Maharashtra who has criminal records.. I for the name of the politician from Thane (Guari or something).. Who used to be don of mafia..
3. The common man (Of Bombay)
The points of view of this people are justifiable as they are the one who are going through this hard situation. But I think they should also understand that the person from Bihar works the hardest and make money. I will really appreciate if someone can explain that if all the biharis will leave, will the violence in Bombay will also extinct? Common.. it was not biharis who created riots in 1990s
4. The common man (Of Bihar/UP, Migrants)
I was freezed seeing footage on TV that workers of MNS and all hit the common man on the road. Who will believe that this is the country of Gandhi. Peoples are coward who attacks on the person who is earning money day to day and living.
5. F**** Actors
I think this people are worst than the politician even.

Even on some points I agree with some of the points made by MNS/Shivsena but after seeing the violence I don’t any more. Just for note from the history.
Bhagatsingh attacked on parlament and surrender at that time just to send message to people that they are not terrorist. Why because people had different image of his/his ethics. But today’s parties encourage valance to ger more footage and more publicity. My only point here to mention about Bhagatsingh is to present my point that he opted for violence to get freedom and just people don’t misinterprete his ethics he turned himself in..just compare it to politician today
It is the time for the Indian to see the hidden benefit after all this…If we think that each state should prioritize his own state then why don’t we give status of nation to each state in that case no one will go to other state and everyone live happly..

When people talk about Marathi vs non marathi issue that is seamering these days, they seem to miss the main point. It is OK for people to migrate within a country but it becomes an issue when this migration is happening on large scale. When such a large number of people migrate from north to Maharashtra it creates problems for the local people and their culture. And this issue must be addressed. Violance that SS or MNS are doing in Mumbai is absolutely wrong but that does not mean their point is not valid. They do have a very valid point. The same thing could happen in any other state.

One other point worth noting is that in Maharashtra land reforms were successful to large extent but in UP/Bihar they were not. That has created major social inequality in those states. Maharashtra is not only economically well developed but it is also socially advanced state. This is mainly due to social reformers like Agharkar, Phule, Karve, Ambedkar etc. Credit for all this certainly goes to Maharashtrians.
